Ephesians 4:14-15 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
Speak the truth in love. Speak the truth because of God’s glory. Speak the truth in love because by our love they SHOULD be able to set us apart from those who’ve never know true Love.
And yeah, you were a bit of a jerk in college BUT Paul wasn’t know for his warm fuzzy feelings either. I think the point is to always keep growing in God.

Right as always Scott. It is easy to want to be right so badly that sometimes we argue just for the competition instead of sharing the truth that can save people from hell and to a relationship with Jesus

Well said, my friend. I resonate with the tactlessness, and regret many conversations in which my ego got in the way of the gospel. Thanks for the insight and the honesty. God bless!
